Hit Music Service Background:

Hit Music Service (HMS) is a direct label to broadcast/performance delivery system designed with two goals in mind; provide songs to the broadcast and club industry that have the potential to become charting singles, and assist in efforts to promote those singles, providing the best possible chance for their success.

HMS is a members’ only website.  Complimentary memberships are offered to Program Directors, Music Directors, Mix Show Directors, and Mix Show DJ’s of commercial and college broadcast stations.  HMS also provides complimentary membership to hand selected performance DJs around the world.   A subscription based membership is available, provided with applicant meets strict guidelines including: weekly performance at a minimum of two established clubs in a major metropolitan market, and a background which proves their ability to introduce new songs. 

Membership within HMS has peaked 6,000+ throughout the United States and continues to grow weekly.  In the coming months a host of Canadian, and European members will be offered the opportunity to join HMS, with the markets of Japan, and Australia to follow.

A song posted on HMS depends on a collective effort between the label and HMS to achieve success.  Much like the old saying, “You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink,” HMS can post a stellar single, however a strong marketing effort is required to establish interest among our members.

HMS offers campaigns to promote songs within the site through banners and special highlighting of songs, which has proven to increase downloads among nearly all members.  Interest may also be developed through several email campaign choices, which offer the option of sending a direct mp3 link to members with a digital press packet, or inclusion in the HMS weekly newsletter to members.
